What is nasheed ?

Nasheed is islamic song. In Islam, we may take plessure with manything as long as it's halaal.. And one of them is by listening or singing usefull song, that is nasheed.

Nasheed can tell or say about manything, such as : history, jihaad, advise, thanksgiving, love, ALLAH's words, etc.
But, mostly nasheed is a da'wah media. Nasheed makes the listener or singer remember to ALLAH SWT, and everything that HE give to us.

Some of famous nasheed singers are from Indonesia and Malaysia.
From Indonesia, such as :
I. Group : Snada, The Fikr, Mupla, Gradasi,Bimbo, and so on.
II. Personal : Opick, Hadaad Alwi, Sulis, etc.
From Malaysia , such as :
Rayhan, The Zikr, etc.
And from West : Yusuf Islam (Muallaf. His name before : Cat Steven)
